You mean "racism". Race is a sum of biological characteristics that make one group of people closer interms of genetic layout to another. In the end though, we all posses the same genes, just in diffrent lauouts and configurations.

The truth is that race is both genetic and politically constructed.
On the former-- race is defined by genetic makeup. Blacks, whites, Asians, etc. have characteristics that make up how they look and certain uniqueness (e.g. blacks get sickle cell but whites don't, )
But, the social/political aspect comes into it to. For example, Hispanics/Latinos are often referred to as a "race". There are Caucasian Hispanics, Spaniards are Hispanics etc. yet they are referred to differently. Now, there are "Hispanics" that aren't Caucasian as well (e.g. Inca, Aztec and other indigenous decedents)
Hate is a different topic-- Some people are taught to hate. That hate usually comes from ignorance, intollerance, sterotypes and observed behaviors of a subset of the "different" people. Human nature, in many cases fears the different, unusual or unknown and that likely developed from human evolution-- e.g. you are wary of a animals, people from different tribes etc. since you don't know if they represent a threat to you or not. Even chimps will fight with each other if they're from different troops-- and they can tell. So you couple genetic dispostion and societal influences, you get racism. Its both genetic and societal.

Simple. The concept of "race" was invented. Someone came up with the terms "*******", "caucasoid", "mongoloid", etc. Prior to that, "race" did not exist.
as for showing that we are taught to hate, there have been numerous situations and tests showing that babies do not relate to each other in terms of race. Take two babies of different "races", let them grow up together without outside influences involving race and they will only love or hate each other on the basis of how they treat each other, not because one is white and one is asian or black or indian.

Race is biology. We don't just look this way for some sort of "diversity scheme" dreamed up by God. We evolved with different racial features that are best suited to protect our bodies from the different environmental hardships that our evolutionary anscestors faced.
There are many catgeories of people but in truth all people belong to three large categories of races, one for caucasians, one for negroes, one for mongoloids (asians).
As for hate, that is a completely seperate topic.

If you had a white person and a black person who lived on an island together and had never been in contact with the outside world they wouldn't know what race was so they wouldn't know racism.

First, bring me all thumbs down right now because I make no sense.
Kindergarden. White boy is naturally friends with black boy. Kindergarden ends. Durning summer, white boys parents teaches white boy that blacks are dumb and dangerous, inferior. 1st grade starts. Black boy can't wait to see his white friend. White boy ignores black boy like stranger, and acts superior. Black boy feels confused and sad that he's lost a friend. Racist black kids show him that is proof that white people are bad and mean. Teen years, white boy continues his superior behavior to blacks. Turns 22, a powerful, emotional event happens to him, showing him that being racist is wrong. He goes against his parents teachings, and goes back to naturally enjoying the company of anyone he connects with regardless of color. Black boy, in twenties, remains irritated about white people, only seeing the racist ones and not the good ones, and clings souly and only to black groups of people. Doesn't listen to anything but rap. Falls in love with a white girl. White girls family is kind to the black guy. The emotional experience opens his mind that not all white people are racists bad to blacks. He starts listening to all music, not just rap.
Society creates racism, not genetics.

anti-scemitism is not inhereted. but people hate jews - because the neighbours hate jews...
and so it is not "racial" - but many born to it...
on the otherhand - in Japan were just a few jews. and yet, some anti-schemitism movement were there.
without seeing a jew - it must be learned etc. and not racial to be born to it.
but if you learned something for generation - it is "natural" to you. and therefor "racial".
