I want to buy this game from eBay, but I read on another Yahoo! Answers question that Silent Hill has problems playing on PS2.

Yeah, ALL PS1 games are compatible on the ps2. The only probelm is you have to have a PS1 memory card to save the data. The PS1 memory card is also compatible on PS2.

Yes...you can play PS1 games on PS2, but not vice versa.

i would have thought so PS2 has the capabilaty of playing PS1 games

Being that it is reverse compatible with all PS one games I would have to say yes. Just remember its not like the movie the game is actually a little scary.

nicely i havent performed that one, yet for video games like that I have a tendency to play on the problem one step down from the hardest accessible first time via... then you honestly can familiarize your self with it and play back on a better sturdy placing later. till the options are basic or everyday. Which case you should go everyday cos its how its meant to be performed first time.
