The four most common types are: 1) terminal or end moraine, at the end of the glacier; 2) lateral moraine, at the margins of the glacier; 3) medial moraines, formed at the "suture" where two glaciers meet; 4) ground moraine (also known as till), deposited underneath the glacier. There are also such things as recessional, interlobate and push moraines, but the ones above are the most common.

Terminal Moraines - which are formed at the terminus, or "toe" of a glacier. Lateral Moraines - these are moraines that are formed along the edges of glaciers. When a glacier moves down-valley, it scrapes a whole bunch of material off the valley walls it falls onto the edges of the glacier. Medial Moraines - Medial moraines form when lateral moraines merge and are on the center of a glacier. Take for example, two tributary glaciers converging into on large glacier. When converge, their lateral moraines will now be in the center of the glacier. As for the fourth, I looked it up on Wikipedia. I'm only really familiar with those three types, as these are the basic types, but another common one is washboard moraines.
