Let me explain my situation i don't have any RB's to start this week. Alexander is hurt and Tiki has a bye.
The only good RB's on waivers are Robinson(SF) and Jones-Drew(Jags)

I already got a trade offer for Alexander so he does have some value. And if you think the 49ers 3rd down back and Jags Backup RB are decent. Then let me know and i'll think about picking them up.

I guess S.Alexander's foot isn't broken and he wants to play.

DEFINATELY dont trade Alexander! yeah he may be hurt for a couple weeks but hes gonna come back and a huge points getting in fantasy. for the rb situation i would pick up the jacsonville back up. Drew. if that doesnt please you then i would try to get a good trade out of it and def. go for Mcgahee, he has a good run style and will always get most (if not all) the carries.

You can not trade a top pick for some lower round guys, you will have to take the hit this week and try some other backs. Either that or trade some other player for a remedial back, a backup WR or QB for the likes of a Kevin Jones or something. Honestly though, MJD might not be that bad as Del Rio will want to rest Fragile Fred. He has a good chance of getting 10-15 touches depending on how much they get the ball. Your call, just don't trade Shaun.

If you can get Ronnie Brown, do it. Otherwise hold onto him... Even after missing 3 weeks, there aren't more than 5-6 backs whose names belong in any trade discussion for Alexander. You *NEVER* dump a top-10 player (let alone a top 3 RB) for 2nd-string/backup guys just to fill a bye week opening.

Since Alexander could be out for a couple weeks or the rest of the season (see Grant Hill, Bill Walton and others with bad feet), I'd go for McGahee.

The Jags have a good backup but don't rely on SF's 3rd string. Frank Gore has SF under control.

I'd wait it out depending on your backups. However, if you feel a trade is needed, I'd take McGahee, who is among the league leaders in rushing yards. He'll start to find the end zone eventually.

What are you getting back for Alexander. I would not trade him. Although he is not going to have a year like last year, he is worth holding on to.

this is a no brainer. Alexander has no trade value so no one will want him and you can easily get a decent guy on waivers.

Yes trade him, sounds like he's gonna be out for a while, and if your gonna need a running back, try to trade for a good one.

Jones-Drew is your man, and Sean isn't gonna be as much of a stud as he was last year... He misses his main man who went to the Vikes, OG Steve Hutchinson... better to let him go...
