Mine is very common and double barreled whats the point. I do like my name though. As people say you do grow into it.

My name is Kerri - I quite like it, it's not fabulous but it suits me (it actually means dark haired in Irish, which is quite fitting - although I aren't Irish!)
When I was younger I wanted to be called something that was different and a bit unusual - like Robyn, Jaime or Danni.
I used to hate my middle name, Louise, because everyone of my age seemed to have that as a middle name.

No, there were 5 of us in my school class with the same name and not one of us liked our name.

My name is given by my grand father's side of the family. It's a poem and every chinese word on this poem is part of my generation's name and generation before it.
I love my name because it's who I am and where I'm from, When someone ask me why didn't change my name to an american name I say it's is american name, It's just not european....WHIT----TY

No I hate my name and always have done, I rarely use the full version of it, I much prefer the nickname my hubby as for me though I doubt it would look good on forms.
