the anti-christ himself. a money making mogul, who doesnt look for talent but looks for a way of leaching money through an unfortunate soul.
Show me the day when a man comes onto his show with no looks but can pen a song and sing it and be a success and he signs them and ill rebuke my statement!

I love Simon, he is honest, at times brutally honest, but consider that he sees thousands of people audition and most of them are a joke. So to have the tolerance to listen to all these people gets on his nerves. Also, out of the 3 judges he is thee most accurate as far as vocals, voice range and originality. Paula is too emotional and she tries to get her audience's approval, Randy is sharp but not on the money with his comments. When Simon talks (people who love him and hate him) listen to what he says because he knows what he's talking about. I absolutely love his honesty and he is a very smart man, to be as rude as he is and be so huge. Considering the fact that he is not even American he comes from London. Rock on Simon

I think he's great. He's the only one who is honest, and doesn't let the people through who can't sing.

Although this time round I have disagreed a couple of times with his decision which doesn't really happen.

Usually everything he says, I have more or less said while they have been singing.

The other two (Sharon & Louis) are a joke, letting the obvious fools through who can't sing and look ridiculous is pathetic.

Simon is extremely intelligent, and that's what I love about him. He's also brutally honest, and responds exactly as he sees it. Sometimes, I think he goes over the line, and is unnecessarily harsh, like dissing fat people, but nobody's perfect. And to his great credit, he apologizes when he misjudges a performance.

Probably the saving grace of these 'talent contests'. You ust have to laugh at some of his comments, and let's face it some on the recieving end really do have to hear what he's got to say about them. You simply have to admire his brutal honesty.

He's like the Jeremy Clarkson of reality tv. Bit like me I suppose, except that I aren't responsible for a few chart irritants...

Simon is OK. Believe he knows what he is talking about, and he certainly has a quality about him. I believe he often gets bad publicity that isn't justified. I can recall seeing a programme on TV about his family life, that included his mum, brother and other family members and I think he is a good guy.

He's certainly made a few pennies from what he does so he must be doing something right.

Well done and Good Luck to him.

I think he is a total closet case and that his "bird" Terry whatserface is a beard....paid loads of money to make him look straight no doubt.

Amazing that the tabloids havent managed to find him "doing a George" with some rentboy somewhere!
He is quite entertaining though with his bitchy putdowns.

A more interesting question would be "Why are kids nowadays so obsessed with the idea of being famous that they are prepared to go on TV with zero talent and make total arses of themselves?"

I quite admire him. He does his job and tells the truth, some people just need it in plain english instead of dressing it up with fancy words. How many people who have had a go back and said that they will sell a trillion albums actually made it?

I used to think he was funny but its getting a bit old now. I cant stand the way the crowd starts booing immediately when he gets asked his opinion and then he does that stupid grin and says something sarcastic and then whines about how he's only telling the truth. its always the same routine and its been going on too long now
