Get some ant spray and spray it all along the perimeter of your house and along all of the baseboards inside. Or call an exterminator - the stuff they use will keep the ants away for at least a year.

They are looking for food and water...there are these little discs that you can get at a hardware store. You set them wherever you are having ant problems, inside the discs are poison. The ants eat and take the poison back to the queen and the other ants. It destroys the entire colony in 2-5 days. The only bad thing about this is that you have to be patient and able to stand seeing the ants crawl all over the place until they eat their fill and take it back to the queen. I had a really hard time watching this and not squishing them. Good luck!!!

Simple, easy, cheap fix, buy some 20 Mule Tean Borax laundry soap, put it in one fo the cheap ketchup squirt bottles, you may have to enlarge the hole on the tip of the bottle a little, then apply the dry laundry soap around baseboards and anywhere you see the ants, I usually put a little around the plumbing under sinks and vanities. Leave the soap lay for several days until you no longer see any signs of the ants then vacuum up the excess soap and discard, use the rest of the soap to do laundry with, I have used this process for years, ants have been bad this year so I have had to do it twice so far this year. The ants carry the soap back to their nest and it will kill them

the best way which we used and was successful was by keeping a lump of sugar or a piece of candy about 1 meter away from your door. this way the ants will be busy with the candy and will not come in the house.
try it, it works

Get an out door posion, that you can spray around the base of your house to keep them out... They come into your house because they seek for sugar and other things that taste sweet, plus they are looking for food...

Recently I got them in my pantry and I had to clean it out three times. I finally sprinkled a little Ortho powder along the baseboards and haven't had a problem since.

get boric acid and dust it around the outside of your house. its a natural pesticide. and maybe even put a small amount along the walls inside the house, if you find them walking around there.
