I am guessing paper since I read the ingredients on the label and truth in packaging would have kept them from saying "paper towels" if they were really silk or cotton or dryer-lint. I will stick with my PAPER guess.

http://www.papertowels.com/faqs.html
I just looked at the first one and found this
4) How is Bounty made?
Bounty is made from trees that are processed into pulpwood. Long fibers from softwood trees, such as pine and spruce are used. After debarking the pulpwood is turned into chips that are cooked. The natural "glue" that holds the fibers together is removed, leaving a fibrous pulp mixture. The pulp goes through cleaners and screens and is bleached to make it absorbent.
U can go to the site if you want to know the rest of the process. GOOD LUCK

What an intriguing first question. I think maybe I would have gone for one of the following instead:
What is water made of?
Why is there air?
Who is the president of the United States?
Why don't I have any friends?
What color is my hair?
Am I gay?
