christian and yes, I have lots of friends; whether they are homosexual; heterosexual; bisexual is only their business!
Friends are friends and hard to come by; why do we have to label everyone?

Yes. I had a couple gay friends in college and several at work. Tragically, most of the men are now deceased from AIDS. I had two lesbian friends stay with me for several months while they were looking for a permanent place to live ... an extremely interesting experience in retrospect, though at the time I was not thrilled with the situation. Currently I'm friendly with two gay women at my church. What I've learned is that like all of us there are a lot more dimensions to gay folks then just their sexuality.
I'm not strictly a Christian or a Muslim (probably a self-styled Buddhist) and have no desire to change anyone's sexuality. I'm of the opinion that sexuality is largely biological and probably can not be effectively changed. Possibly suppressed or repressed but not changed.

I have a few that are. One man who was a professinal fighter for a time. Someone that I faced in the ring many times. He is now a martrial arts teacher in Canada. And a woman who was a martial arts student a of mine for several years and part of a band that I fronted who is now a Librarian. And as for the other part of yor question, I am neither a Christian nor a Muslim and have never even considered changing either of them. It would be wrong to make such an attempt...you either accpet people for what they are...or you stay out of their lives.

Yeah. If I was Christian or Muslim I wouldn't try to change them. They're my friends.

Only one, and he's kinda distant. Plus my boyfriend.
But all of my friends are straight, and they're Christian like me, so they all do. They're also gay rights activists.
Christians follow the teachings of Christ, who never mentioned homosexuality, talked constantly about love and respect of others as the things that really mattered, and opposed people who used their religious beliefs (gleened from literal readings of scripture) as weapons. A Christian shouldn't try to change someone's nature, but accept them as they are, made in God's image.

ok my partner is Homosexual/ Gay.. and she is Christian and I am Pagan (old world) and neither of us try to change the other we accept for who we are because we fell in love with each other just the way we are, why would we try to change who we are ? and yes we have other Gay friends... and no we dont try to change them .. we became friends with them the way they were and like them for who they are ..this world is about dirversity.. that is what makes it beautiful.. if we were all the same it would be a pretty boring place to live.. it would be pretty vanilla.. so NO WAY are we in any way trying to change anyone.. you are who you are and im who I am .. and that is the way the Goddess or God whomever you belive in made you... and that is the way it is going to stay in my book....
AMEN and AMEN,
Blessings to everyone,

Hi. Being a spiritualist, but born and raised a Christian, I try to change no one. If someone is happy in their life how are we to change it. We all no matter what race or religion should strive to find our happiness. If people are happy being strait, let them, if they are happy being gay let them...if the are nothing at them moment, let them.Everyone needs to find there own way.
We are no here to save anyone but ourselves. we can only hope to inspire those around us. Laughter is the best thing for the world, if we are inspired to share it with all.

I am gay - I am a Christian - I have gay friends. As far as changing them I never attempt to alter what a person believes - that is not my duty in life.
