Wait a while before moving on to MBA if possible. The degree is meant to provide managers with tools to do a better job and has a useful life of about 5 years. If you haven't started working yet you'll probably waste some time if you get the degree too early.
Another benefit of the degree is the networking that you do during the program, this will be more valuable to you later in your career, because you'll have more to offer your classmates.
As for scope, there's tonnes of scope for a bright engineer who is personable and able to tackle business as well as technical problems.
