NO matter what you will always have a trail. Hit Tools Internet options and delete files and cookies for a quick way to reduce your trail though.

oooh.. now why would u want to do that!!!
anyways.. if even if you try to delete all evidences there still remain ways that this *person* recover the deleted traces!

all your surfing history are in files.. and if u delete those files (manually or thru software) there are still chances that a smart data recovery software restores them

dont go for those internet history deletion software that are advertised on you-know-which sites.. they are malware, spyware and possibly full of trojans

manual methods are to clean the cache of the browser. IE cache is in X:\Documents and Settings\USERprofile\Local Settings\Application Data\Temporary Internet Files
and X:\Documents and Settings\USERprofile\Local Settings\Application Data\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

Go to tools, internet options, click clear history. That will clean all the websites that you have visited, off of your address bar..Change days to keep in history, to 0.

delete everything in your history file... then go to the start menu.. go to "Search", "files or Folders" and in the box type "cookies" (cookies is a folder that stores all your internet locations)... after it finishes scanning all of them, highlight them and delete them... this is also a good way to free up some space on your PC.. hope it helps!....
