While I am not sure about your specific statistics it has been prooven time and again that there are more black people in prision. You should be able to deduce why on your own, obviously they are comitting more crime.

But just you wait and see someone will point it out as unfair, or say whites get preferred treatment or something.

Crime has a lot to do with culture and geographic locality. Large cities have more people, more diversity and more crime (typically). This gives a higher probability that someone of non-caucasian ethnicity will be convicted of a crime, since there is more than one ethnic group.

Plus, prisons are not huge places. If the population was 100, with 14 being black (the 14%), that means 14 people out of 100 are black. The prison population is not 80% of 14, but 80% of however many people are convicted. 80% of 3 is not exactly a high number compared to 20% of 86. The stats needed to make the implication that 80% of crime is commited by blacks is missing.

Prime example as to why more black skin people are on record for commiting more crimes and in prisons across the United States of America, even though black skin people make up only 14% of the population in the U.S. is because of people like the Caucasian racist Court Clerk on blast now in the Media in Ferguson Missouri, court clerk Mary Ann Twitty, was fired earlier in connection with racist emails and was further accused of "fixing" traffic tickets go away - as she helped the local government make revenue off of blacks, browns and poor whites in Ferguson Mo. Also read the book, "The New Jim Crow," by Michelle Alexander to know the real reason why so many black and brown people are locked up in American prisons. Peace and Love.

It may be that in the USA the police are better at catching black criminals. Or may be that white criminals commit the type of crime that does not require a long prison sentence. Or maybe it is the same percentage keeps re offending again and again

No stupid.....Blacks just get caught more often cus more people are looking for them to do something.....
No saying they didn't do what they were accused of....But...

I'm a woman and if I walk in a store at the same time a white woman, or asian woman does, the consumer tends to be more friendly with the other women rather than myself, and I probably make more than both of them combined......

America is all about race.... if 'White' people had not stolen this country from the Natives and then stolen Us from Africa, to build this nation, and then use us to FIGHT EVERY WAR, and then make us Fight to VOTE in the VERY Nation that we built.......not fund schools in certain neighborhoods... And then I have to be called an African American..... *****, I'm a Full Blooded AMERICA, and not by choice....

I'm not making excuses.... Where did you get those statistics???

how sallow, no it's because a black person is 70% more likely to do jail time then a white man who commits the same crime. I am a criminal justice major currently at college and trust me the statistics prove a little bit of racism going on in the system. It is almost the same with hispanics. So please do some research before you ask such sallow questions.

nicely alot of black officers and judges are what some human beings call "uncle toms" meaning they're black yet are racist against there own colour.yet it is not why black adult males are in penitentiary.i think of maximum of them are in penitentiary for issues that they did whilst they have been youthful.not having a a father around or having a mom as a crack head. Many had to conflict to get food and the only way that they could have adequate funds something to consume grow to be with the help of stealing which bring about imprisonment. So your good it is not all approximately racism..that's greater with regard to the habitat and way of existence.in case you think of approximately it.Alot of the "anger" and frustration leads back to slavery and in case you had mom and dad or grandparents who went with the aid of bondage and merciless and unusual punishment then you extremely may well be attentive to the way a guy could be raised with lots hate in his coronary heart.because of the fact he would not comprehend why this guy is being taken care of greater advantageous than him and why he cant have adequate funds to positioned on stunning issues...and if basically human beings extremely knew what it extremely is prefer to develop up being black! it is not basic and is only not.human beings nonetheless do not wanna comprehend.

I don't necessarily believe your statistics, but blacks are prosecuted more and treated less fairly by the judicial system. So, more of the blacks who commit crimes are sentenced to jail, while more of the whites who commit crimes are sentenced to a fine or probation. Blame the system.

Because "the man" is out to get them.

A black male has a 1 in 3 chance of being incarcerated in his lifetime. Hmmmmmmm....

I guess they were all just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Because to say anything different would not be PC. So we must censor ourselves and our statistics.
