Mark Jackson was an extremely smart player, who ran the point guard position to precision. Beyond passing however, Jackson in no other way stood out. He was a mediocre to poor defender, won no titles, average scorer and shooter, and could not take over a game offensively. He just had great assists numbers, but in no other way stood out as a point guard in the NBA.

He was a good player. Good doesn't get you to the Hall of Fame.

By the way, Mark Jackson is the older brother of And 1 streetballer Troy Jackson, better known as "Escalade".

Yes, he was definitely good enough to be in the hall.

Not at all. Although the HOF is a joke so maybe yes. I don't think this MJ was "famous" at all. A decent pro and that's about it.
