Depending on the age of your baby also counts. Naturally, a baby will be attracted to the bright lights and colors on your laptop, or even in general. The buttons only make the experience more fun for them. I think he's really just exploring and trying to figure out what it is. You might also find that if you have a cellular phone, that will be the next interesting thing on his list.

It has lots of great buttons to push and it makes great sounds. If you check out the baby section in WalMart, that is what most of the toys are about. Babies love simple, great sounding stuff. He may also want your attention.

He prob likes the colors on the screen. Hopefully he's not mad at it. If he's upset with it, maybe he thinks your giving the laptop more attention than him? Baby's are funny like that.

My sons fav. thing is my laptop also I think it is because of the buttons. So I bought him a kids laptop computer and when I use mine he sits beside and be both get on the computer together.

If he's seen it on....then he knows what it can do and probably wants it to turn on. If not then the flipping action of the top could do it.
Babies always go for the expensive things in the home.....i think it's in their nature.

babies get attracted to lights colour etc as there senses are developing hence they get attracted to the laptop

My son is the same way bout the keyboard to my computer . ... i think because he sees me typing on it and it makes all those funny noises and i stare at the computer like it is the coolest thing in the world. so to him, it must be worth checking out.

you said it yourself! LOL babies are attracted to EVERYTHING, it moves, its lights up, it makes sounds, it has buttons.. all things that catch they eyes, ears and hands of a young one!
maybe you should buy a toy one so that he doesnt go after yours and break it! best of luck!

He is probably scared or has a severe disliking to your computer. Well just think in a few years, you have problems of getting him off the computer so that you can use it!!

IT LOOKS LIKE A TOY. KEEP IT AWAY FROM HIM BECAUSE HE WANT STOP GOING AFTER IT UNTIL HE UNDERSTANDS NO. BY THEN YOUR LAPTOP WILL BE DESTROYED WITH ALL THE DROOL AND BANGING HE WILL DO TO IT IF HE GETS A HOLD ON IT.
