IT IS NOW REQUIRED TO SHOW YOUR PASSPORT TO CROSS BACK. BUT YOU WOULD NEED TO SHOW PROPER I.D. IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, YOU WILL HAVE 3 HOUR MINIUM WAIT TILL THEY CLEAR YOU AND THEY WOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEARCH YOU. SO TAKE ANOTHER ONE OUT ASAP BETTER THEN GO.
A FRIEND OF MINE GOT HIS WALLET STOLENED AND HE HAD A NICE 4 HOUR WAIT FOR HIS PROBLEMS. THEY TOOK A PRINT AND STILL HAD TO WAIT.
SO BE SAFE AND WAIT BETTER

I wouldn't go without an ID. I know you are an American, but at the border, the burden of proof is on you to prove it. An ID would save you a lot of problems. I went there last week and it was crazy at the border. I gave them my ID and they asked me where i was born and what was my purpose in Mexico. They also asked if i had brought anything with me and had a dog and police at the border checking people. An ID would be a smart choice!!

Yeah, you have to have ID to enter back in the country. Usually if you have about 20 bucks and go to the license bureau they can help you out. Tijuana's a **** hole anyway. And they do ask of ID.

If thousands of Mexicans cross the border without ID, I'm sure that you can too. Good luck, and don't forget to see the donkey show while you're there!

Yes u need an American ID to get past Border Patrol, So don't go unless you have one. If ur Military I suggest you get one fast

Yes it will be a problem if you do not have a picture ID
and two other forms of ID. Home land security is very stricked.

Do you have a passport? If so...take that in lieu of the ID.
Otherwise... I wouldn't go. They probably won't ask for ID's but if they do... you will be stuck there at the border.

Nah.. just take your ss card and birth certificate and maybe a school id or a Costco card.. you should be fine =) I never need id when we go to Rosario
unless you are planing on going to papas and beer they ask for id..

If they let you cross into Mexico......which is doubtful....you won't be allowed back in "Guaranteed" with all the ugabugga over illegal immigration your a** will be grass and you know the rest of the story
