Has the Grey Cup for the Canadian Football League ever been played outside in the snow? If so, where was the game located, what year was it played, who played, and who won?

Well, the 1996 Toronto Argonauts 43-37 Edmonton Eskimos – 84th Grey Cup ("The Snow Bowl") in Hamilton. There was also the famous 1977 Ice Bowl where the Alouettes used broomball shoes and put staples in the soles to get more traction and thrashed the Eskies 41-6 in Montreal. I also recall one in Winnipeg which had a least a slight dusting of snow. I think it was during the Argos' Rocket Ishmail era, maybe the 1991 one??

Go look 'em all up on wikipedia.org or cfl.ca for details.

There's almost always a bit of snow every second year or so. It hardly seems like the Grey Cup without it. Please keep it out of that stupid Dome in TO. It isn't CFL football without having our own climate as one of the elements. Separates the men from the boys...

of course it has, probably lot's. have you ever been to football game where you have to wear your winter jacket, mittens, toque, and a blanket? brrrrr. you have to drink like 40 hot chocolates to keep your hands warm. yum yum, hot chocolate and beer, it's a wonderful mix. that is the cfl my friend, it isn't a football game unless your frezzing your *** off (literally). man, it was snowing in calgary 2 weeks ago. this year the grey cup is in my home town and i will be enjoying the game from the warmth of my living room. go bombers go!

There's too many to list.
The more memorable one was in Hamilton I believe with Edmonton losing to Toronto 43-37. It was dubbed the "snow bowl".
it was in 1996
