Earlier this year, in the journal, Infectious Disease Clinics of North America, there is an excellent article titled, "Plague: Disease, management, and recognition of act of terrorism" (pp 273- 287). It describes everything you want to know about Yersinisa pestis, including treatment and isolation. The author is Janak Koirala.
Try using PubMed. Also look at other sites such as the American Journal of Infection Control site, Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, Canadian Journal of Infectious Diseases, and so on.

Yersinia pestis is a bacteria - so it is treatable with an antibiotic (stretomycin or tetracyclin). Such a shame that antibiotics weren't discovered back in the day!

Y. pestis is generally susceptible to streptomycin and chloramphenicol but concomitant therapy is sometimes recommended.

This journal might help:

Use this website because it has authors and coauthors that are doctors, so it should be credited although I am not sure it is peer- reviewed. Maybe try some scientific journals.
