Well we waited about 4 1/2 months and we've been living together now for about 6 months. I thought things moved alittle fast but I'm happy. But I pushed the issue alittle bit because I'm 30 and this is the first time I've lived with someone, I spent my 20's single and carefree and now I'm ready for some commitment.

I met Joe Halloween day 1989. Our first date (after three months of flirting) was 1 Jan 1990. Not long after he asked me to move in - I told him, 'not yet'. We had a commitment ceremony with friends and family on 5 Sep 1992. I moved my things in the next weekend. We have been together ever since.

I did not feel like moving too fast.

I moved in with my now husband after just 1 month of dating. We've been together for 3 years and married for 2. I think it should be when you feel comfortable in taking your relationship to the next level. You really don't know a person until you live with them.

We were dating for 12 months.... I moved into the apartment complex a block away from her house... I wanted to make sure it was something we both wanted.... So wait a year and see how you deal with issues together..

My girlfriend and I dated for a year and 10 months before we moved in together. My rule of thumb (from the experiance of those around me) is life apart for a least a year, so you can be sure it is more then just infatuation.

We knew each other for about six month before we started dating. After we started dating, it was about 6 more months before we moved in together.

I'm 24 and I live by myself. I'm single now, but I don't want to move together before I'm 100% sure.
