You raise a very good point. In college I took a political science course called Politics and the media. This class focused on how those who run the networks push the news to support their interests. If you have someone interested in the cause for breast cancer, you will see a lot of stories covering that topic. Our job is to take in information and decide for our selves what we believe. Trust the media ? No but question the media, evaluate the media, and form your own opinions! Kudos to you and the best of luck~

You shouldn't trust ANYONE when they are merely giving opinions, which all those people you are mentioning do, as independent thinking people we should be taught and raised to question, but the school systems herd us through like sheep and don't incourage that from us. It is right to learn as much as you can about any subject from many different resources and find the truth.

Try PBS. It's the only reasonably free press in the USA. All the others are controlled by corporate sponsors. If you can get it, BBC is quite reliable, and the CBC in Canada, but that's a bit provincial sometimes.

it's bias crap, it's all advertising their points of view, very selfish.
u gotta be strong and not give in, this world is fulled by advertising, its everywhere, we can't leave our houses without being influenced. don't be naive and u'll be ok
