my last period was Aug 6, so its been 52 days since my last period. i feel very fatigue, my breast/nipples hurt to touch. It's been feeling like im going to get my period for the past two weeks but i havent. i went to the doctor the day before yesterday and took a urine test and it was neg. i dont have any cramping at all. ive gained about 3 pounds all in this week. im the type that dont gain weight easily, just 6 months ago i was 95 pounds and now im 110. does anyone know what this could be? or any experiences? i had a pap smear september 6 and it was normal. i've been having unprotected sex every other day with my husband since august 18. my periods can be pretty irregular, so i can never tell. what do you think?

I would go back to the Dr. and have them do a blood test to tell if you are pregnant because the urien tests are not always right I felt like that and I took a test and it kept saying it was neg. I was four months along before the test said pos. Keep taking the tests and see what happens

O.K., well it sounds like you doctor is not concerned & I take it that since you are having unprotected sex with your husband that you are trying to get pregnant????
Sometimes, if you have been on the pill for a LOOONG time & then go off of it for whatever reason it can take your body time to catch up & get back into rythm. If your pee test was negative & so was your pap, maybe that is what is going on........
All I know is that when I was pregant I had the symptoms as you described, except the early weight gain. That took several months. Then again you didn't mention nausea. WOW!!! HUH??? I can understand your confussion..... Glad to see that you did go to the doctor BEFORE getting on here though. Like I said, if your doctor is not showing any concern & if she performed a regular exam with the pap & she did not feel a baby or any thing unusual, give it a bit more time. Sorry I wasn't any help, I'm as perplexed as you are.

I'm also irregular and with my first son who was planned, I had a negative home test, a negative hospital urine test, and was told to go in a week later for a blood test if I still felt sure I was pregnant. I went in and was told my hormones were barely marking pregnant, but that I definitely was so. Wait a few more days and do a blood test, but in the meantime act like your pregnant.

If you have a long cycle you might be pregnant and just not late yet.

Maybe your doc can do a blood test to check for the preggo hormone. Also, you should have them check your thyroid.

you hormone levels may not be strong enough to detect the pregancy i would get a blood test done.
