When i first started watching nascar i hated kurt busch now im not so sure. Hes done alot of dumb things but who hasnt. I was at a race earlier this year and the boos were horrible for him and his brother. So my question is why do people hate kurt busch so much?

Ok, I like most of the other answers, but let's not forget the drunk driving thing, that's when he became one of the least favorite drivers in NASCAR. Sure, the whole thing kind of disappeared, money will do that to most unfavorable situations, if you throw enough at it. I just think that the last thing a person who makes his living DRIVING should have is even the hint of being under the influence of anything while doing so on the track, street, or even in their own back yard!
Yes, he appears to have matured recently, but that also comes from money. We could all make ourselves look pretty good if we had image consultants on retainer.
Anyway, I don't hate Kurt Busch, or even Kyle Busch, I just don't think they have the moral fibre to be role models for all the children who look for idols in NASCAR!

i'm a Truex fan so I wouldnt say i'm chuffed that he gained to assert the least. That being mentioned, he did have the main suitable automobile immediately and deserved the win. The cutoff for the chase is an prolonged way from over and if Busch retains working like he's, he ought to end this element going into the chase in the 10th or probable ninth place. I don't hate Kurt but I sure as heck am not a fan of him. There are days when I actually find myself rooting for the little Keebler Elf lookalike but then he'll make some bonehead move on the race track and take out one of my favorite drivers and that'll piss me off.
I have no problems with Kurt, it's his little gremlin brother Kyle who I can't stand! Kyle was dissing Martin Truex Jr back in 2004, when Martin was whooping his azz on the track to win his first Busch Series championship. Kyle had the audacity to say that Martin would not make a great champion and did not deserve the championship. Then Kyle gets into the Cup series and acts like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
And if you notice Kyle won't mess with a driver like Dale Jr, Mark Martin, Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon, etc. He'll get into a little rift with a driver like Casey Mears who doesn't bother anybody. I want for the little gremlin to mess with someone like Jr, Mark, Tony, etc and see what'll happen to him!

I think it came from a couple years ago when it seemed like he was always causing trouble on and off the track. His helmet throwing and rude comments about the veteran drivers doesn't help him any bit. Jimmy Spencer is a veteran of this sport and Kurt didn't treat him with respect at all. I was glad that Jimmy punched him...I would have done the same thing!
So that is why I think that people dislike him so much.

I don't like him cause he's a schmuck, and his little brother is now following in his footsteps. He isn't doing anything stupid now because Penske must have sat him down and told him "Hey, don't do anything stupid, or I'm gonna have to kick you out" but his past, like Gordon, still makes people wanna boo him. Once you dislike a certain driver, there are only very few circumstances in which you can root for that driver. For example, the lesser of 2 evils clause. I don't care for Bobby Labonte(only cause that's who my dad roots for and I like giving him a hard time when Bobby doesn't finish that well) But, if he's racing Busch, or any of the Hendrick boys(except for Vickers, he's going to Red Bull and apparently isn't a part of Hendrick now) I'll root for Bobby, any other time, I'm not.

I am the opposite I used to like Kurt Busch and he used to be my sisters favorite driver now we don't like him at all and his brother is worse. Anyway why I don't like Kurt Busch some of the things he says and his attitude on the track. Not to mention everyone can make loads of jokes about him for pinning his ears back hehe

I don't like either one of the busch brothers, and for the same reason for why i dislike them both. I don't like their driving style nor do i like their personality and cocky attitude. And anyone who says they don't have a cocky attitude doesn't watch NASCAR enough to speak a word about it. Need i remind you of the incident kurt had last year, he got pulled over by a cop, he felt he shouldn't be bothered or ticketed b/c he was kurt busch...referring to his words to the cop "do u know who i am"....and as the cop let him know, it dont matter who the hell he is, he's a citizin like everybody else.
they have bad cocky attitudes and their driving is the same, that's why i dislike them the most. they deserve the boos

Yes, he has done some pretty stupid things...but so has a lot of drivers. I think the Busch brothers are just those drivers that fans "love to hate"
You will find that in most sports.

Cause he is a huge punk. But he is not as big of a punk as Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. are. Also he is ugly. The whole snow angel thing on the start finish was totally lame.
The whole drunk driving thing in Phoenix really put me over the top. Just the way he acted to the cops was insane.
I don't care either way about Kyle. Neither of them are as arrogant as Stewart.

I also like Kurt Busch since he move to Penske_I don't know why people hate him or Kyle Busch they both are really good drivers
