BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE QUESTION, PLEASE CONSIDER CAREFULLY WHAT WOULD THAT MEAN FOR ITALY AND THEIR PLACE IN THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC MAP OF EUROPE...

No, it would make the world cup a less spectacular event and give it less meaning. You speak of stars imagine twice as many teams/countries having stars. The tournament would have less significance and that would be bad for the international game.

My answer has nothing to do with the economis status or Gross Domestic Product of Italy, but I think the world cup is just fine the way it is. There is alot of planning to be done for a tournament of this magnitude and while we have EURO Championships to look forward to every 2 years, having to wait for the WC every 4 years makes it that more jucier and exciting. FIFA knows what its doing... well, for most part anyway... lol

I think every four years is good enough. Besides we have the Euros to look forward to in two years.
Look bud have you ever been to Italy? If not I think you should go there. You might like it. Why are most of the good players playing in Italian leagues? Don't tell me it's because of the money. These guys love Italy, they love the lifestyle and they want to play where soccer is played well and appreciated. That one player from Inter who isn't even Italian (forgot his name now) didn't want to play in England even though he was offered a villa and a flight back to Italy after every game. That must say something about Italy and the Italians that you have so much animosity towards.

the global Cup each and every 4 years works. This adventure is a novelty. that is not any longer an excellent severe adventure and it may't be. The nationwide communities do not prepare at the same time lengthy sufficient to provide the finished communities they are in many situations. you'd be truly reliable and your nationwide team will be weak. so that you may no longer play ever. in case you want reliable football on an time-honored foundation then get into the Champions League. the finest of the finished opt for it. the prevalent of play is better. you do not ought to attend each and every 4 years.

heck, if it was every year i would watch it. BUT, the value of the whole tournament would decrease substantially, and it wouldn't mean as much to the fans and the to the players as well. What would christmas be to us if we had it everyday? since it is only once a year, we look forward to just that one day and it's always memorable and special. it's the same with the world cup. having if every 4 years makes it more meaningful and memorable. there are a lot of other reason as to why it should only be every 4 years, but that really is my main one.

NO, nobody in North America cares about soccer at all except for when the world cup comes around. Then all of a sudden, everyone is a huge fan. If you put it too often people won't see it as a big event anymore and quit watching it altogether.

That would b awesome for us the supporters but for the players it woulnt b that gr8 because they need to work on their skills and get mor experience and 2 years isnt enough! it would also b aweful 4 sum of the countries 2 organize it in 2 years only!!! so therefore on the supporters point of view it would b gr8 but it cant b possible b cause 2 years isnt enough time for the country thats hosting it and for sum of the players thats playin in it!!
