homeowners, or renters insurance would cover that I beleive,
call whoever sells your car insurance for a start.
I think a internet company called lowjack does to, but its a monthy service....

You should be able to cover your laptop on your contents insurance policy. Phone either your UK Insurance Broker or Direct Insurer and find out.

This will be your cheapest option.

they have programs like lojak for a computer. they can track it if someone steals it. but you get insurance
