Make sure you put the cartrige in right, and then turn it off for one minute, then turn it back on to see if it works

Your printer is using Epson T040120 and T041020. Both these cartridges have "smart" chip on it. All you need is chip resetter. You can get one for $9.5 here http://fillserv.com/products/chipresetter.php

if you filled the cartridge's your self then you have to reset the chip in the cartridge maplin's do a thing called zap-it regards roy
