Yes. There is a product that deflects radar lights and red light flash cameras. This product has been tested by Denver, CO police and has been proven EFFECTIVE.

A friend had crap like that and it didn't work. It was supposed to make the flash reflect to bad and make the license plate just a bright square. But he still got a ticket in the mail. I have a friend who has some kind of hard plastic cover over his that is supposed to make the plate unreadable in pictures, but he has yet to run a red light. So if your planning on running red lights I would at least test it out on one light before I ran multiple lights and had a shitload of pricey tickets and no license. Either way I don't see why you would want to run them, you could end up causing a wreck. Well good luck.

Most states have laws that prevent you from having that sort of stuff on and around your license plate and you can get a really big fine for breaking that law(if you get caught). Also Mythbusters recently did an eppisode simmilar to this all the products they tested failed to obscure the plate number from the speed trap camera I'm pretty sure the red light cameras work the same way. So most likely you will have to suck it up and pay the fine.

Don't run red lights. But here's a thought. If you get a ticket for running one, take it to court. Under the constitution you have a right to face your accuser. A camera is not an accuser and cannot argue with you. You also have a right to know right then and there when the 'incident' took place, not a week to a month from then!

Here's a thought---
Don't run the red lights. If you do use something that can obfuscate your license number, then you most likely will be less careful (Stands to reason, or why would you want the product). If this becomes your practice, then OTHERS are at risk due to your behavior, and I for one deeply resent that. I don't worry so much about myself, but I certainly DO concern myself where my wife, children and grandchildren are at issue.

When I was in the Marines, I had a roomate whos father was a cop in Florida. According to him, If you spray aresol hairspray on your plate, When the camera takes the picture your plate will only show up as a blur in the pic. Ive never tested it lol. Cant afford the ticket if it doesnt work.

Contact paper works every time. It has some other drawbacks, though...

Trouble is, anything certain to hide your plate from a camera will also make it impossible for anyone else to read the numbers, so a cop will be able to spot it too.

There are many products that claim to do this, but testing proves that none of them really do. They're the modern day version of snake oil.
