i am trying to find out what happened to a friend of mine, i do not live in that state anymore, and it was not on the news. there has to be a site that has this information. thank you. ( detroit )

Well, I don't know where you are trying to find this information, but most local TV news stations have websites. If you know the local stations call letters ( WZZM13, KGW8) you should be able to find them with a basic web search with Google or Yahoo! Search. or whichever search engine you prefer.
