As there is a saying that one should stop singing when his sound is good and not when his sound is bad, Ganguly should have called it a day the day he was out of Indian Cricket Team, which would have been graceful for him instead of entering into the controversies.

He should have done it gracefully 3 yrs back. Last 3 yrs of his captaicny he was non performign captiain and enjoyed it for 5 yrs b'xuz his godfather jaggu has bcci key. ganguly was cheap politician and coward captian. dravid did donkey work and ganguly took the credit.
even he scores runs in challengers trophy, he has to compete with many youngester who are playing better cricket than gangly.
ganguly is busy with showcasing his political support of mafia marxits, giving tv interviews accusing coach, captain, selection commitee, purcahsign goondas to burn effugies, celebrate the shraddas ganguly plays IIIclass politcs not cricket.

No he should not....The only thing Indian think tank needs to do now is to stop their current coach and captain from their horrible streak of failed experimentation....get rid of foreign coach...sack Dravid from captaincy, bring Ganguly back in...restore regular opening poistions for Tendulkar, Sehwag and Ganguly......
and make Ganguly captain....
I am not an Indian but have to say he is the only aggressive Captain I have ever seen in Indian team in past 20+ years who can really dictate terms on the field with his smart field settings and intelligent bowling changes.
Actually it was during his time when India were able to over come their nervousness when playing against Pakistan and only then India started winning games against Pakistan on a regular basis compared to once in a blue moon practice like it used to be during past 20 years.
