Do you mean Geraldo?

Was he ever a respected journalist??

Aside from not having any credibility going into 'serious' reporting, when he was sent home from the war for giving away troop positions kinda sunk him further down the 'respectable' list. Isn't he on Fox "news" now? Well, I guess that that certainly dosen't make him respected or honest.

What do you mean "anymore"? He was never particularly respected. From the Al Capone's vault debacle to getting his a/ss kicked by skinheads to joining Fox news (surprise, surprise) to giving away troop positions in Iraq, this guy has been a Grade A MORON from the git-go. And I love how he takes pot-shots at John Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Like he'll ever be has half as interesting, funny or talented as either of them. Geraldo should pull his moustache -- and the rest of his head -- out of his a/ss and STFU!!!

After the debacle of the televised and much ballyhooed entry into Al "Scarface" Capone's secret vault, and most recently the televised desert storm confidential troop position which caused them to be exposed to unnecessary danger Rivera proved himself to be a man of no integrity. Further stoking the fire, was his published autobiography where he named all the women he had ever bedded, proving that he is no gentleman and lacks integrity.

MSNBC has a lot more class than to hire Rivera. He is not a liberal, just an opportunist. There is an excellent satire on him in the novel Vernon God Little by Charboneau. Not to mention what was done in Dunesbury

It's Geraldo and I never respected him as a journalist. And neither did many others. He was pretty good at grandstanding though.

He did a live show in which he opened Al Capone's vault and there was nothing in it.

Three words, "Al Capone's Vault."
