I never wanted to stay single forever. But it looks as though that is what will happen. You can learn from my mistakes: If you care for someone who is available, ask him/her to go on a daytime date. Just strolling a mall (especially at Christmas time) will let you know if you should see each other again in some more romantic setting. Don't end up like me. I've never had a satisfactory relationship with the opposite sex. (Have had a few physical encounters, but I wouldn't call any of them satisfactory. I didn't love the person at all.)
However, if you do end up single for life, there IS some comfort in knowing that you never had to experience some agonizing divorce like all the middle-aged people around you may be doing. I do get a little comfort from that.
Does this help?

There is NOTHING wrong with staying single! I've known a couple that has been together for over 14 years and they don't feel the need to marry.

(and before someone thinks it, they ARE not "technically married" via Common Law.)

There is someone for everyone in this world, it just takes some ppl more time to find that special someone. The only thing you can do is enjoy the single life and you may never know you might find someone that will knock your socks off out in the real world.

I believe there is someone for everyone, some are lucky enough to find the love of their life and true soul mate, some let love pass them by for one reason or another and some do like been single, but until the right one comes along.

yes but some people just let them pass right by. That's why I hate when people are too shy to ask someone they like to go out you never know if they are your soul mate.
