If we all don't like his politics . . . why did we vote him back in for a second term?

Because Kerry was too liberal... If he had been more middle of the road, I think he would have taken the election...

Sigh... many of those who voted for him believe that
USA would be safer with him than Kerry in office in
terms of fighting terrorism. Another factor is the
rightwing conservative types, telling their supporters
to vote for Bush. There are people who do like his
politics, namely fatcats who benefit by having him
in office. The fact that Dubya is a longtime admirer
of Ronald Reagan, who was an extremely charismatic
but not terribly competent politician, might have helped him.
Another fact is he is a southerner, and that might have
helped him in that region of the USA. Many of the people
who backed him on the War on Iraq are now backing away
from that position.
Dubya is the only US President I believe to decrease
taxation and increase military spending at the same time,
which is the reason the USA no longer has balanced budgets,
like they did when Clinton was in charge. Their unemployment
rate is also higher than it was under Clinton. It reached its'
lowest rate in decades under Clinton. I don't like Clinton
either, but getting a ******* from an intern and lying about it
seems less of a sin than what Dubya did to make the case to
go to Iraq. He claimed that Saddam was linked to Osama/9-11.
That's not true. It was claim he had WMD. None have been
found. If they are found, it's more likely they were planted by
the CIA, or some other US government branch. As bad as
Clinton is/was as President, Dubya is worse.
Osama Bin-Laden also made a timely video appearance
a few days before the 2004 US election, helping Bush win
undecided voters, or those who were weak Kerry supporters.
Another factor is the Moral Majority, who know Bush will
cater more to their agenda than Kerry will. They told their
supporters to vote for Bush to push their ideas ahead.

I didn't vote for him the first time and sure didn't vote for him the second time. However many people did. Why some like him some are die hard reps. that will vote for any rep tha runs no matter what there views are. Some were scared, in his reelction he keep showing scenes from 9/11 so everyone remebered and would vote for him in some cases it worked. Than there is the voting machine issue in OH

George W. Bush won a second term because he won more electoral votes and popular votes than Senator John Kerry.

Most people did like his politics. That is why he got the majority of the votes.

I didn't vote for him personally. But I would assume the rest voted for him because we were in the middle of a conflict. And some people DO like his politics.

Your problem is in the "we all". "we all" don't agree on anything, and never have. It's the majority that voted him back in, and did so because we thought he was the better man for the job. I still think so, as a matter of fact. It's completely normal for a President during wartime to have dismal ratings....but, he is doing what is unfortunately necessary.

If by ALL DON'T LIKE HIS POLITICS you mean the commislamic radicals, that was not many in comparison to the actual voters. Most of the people that do not like his politics probably did not vote for him.

I personally didn't vote for him either time. i don't know what the heck people were thinking when he won again. Maybe theres a conspiracy theory here. I have my doubts on the validity of the election results. Since anything is a possibility in the US Government
