I don't necessarly need a secreteray per se, but rather an assistant. I have a 3 ro 5 person workload, and my boss just keeps adding more responsibility on top of everything so my work is either getting sloppier, or I am late with everything.
I keep telling him I need an assistant, but he just does what my landlord does; dismisses everything I say.
Basically I would have my assistant take care of all incoming phone calls. I mean if I wasn't constantly harrased by these stupid and idiotic customers, I could actually get work done!
So that's my answer... Is it up to specs?

I already have one, so I guess I'm not qualified to answer this question. I would want them to answer the phone, try to keep me from having to do as much work as possible so I could concentrate on new business, or things that will make me money. Is that clean enough for ya? :-)

I don't want a secretary, I want a personal assistant. Someone to take care of the little mundane parts of my day like answering the phone, paying bills, etc.

I would love a secretary... preferably female to answer my calls, get my coffee, soda, water -- hmmm... maybe I'd rather invest in a maid who would clean my house. Yeah, I've convinced myself I need a maid service.
