Color me confused...So the dad that went to jail was a preacher? Some how, I guess I must have missed this story?!?
If this is the case, I doubt very highly he was making a lot of money to begin with, unless he has a larger congregation full of wealthy, giving followers.
So I guess in reality, I dont know too many people who could afford to have 16 kids. I would have loved to have a few more, but I knew when to say when!!!
We have a family like this here. Dad is a loser and mom is a nurse. The kids look like bums and the parents are dressed to the nines. Everyone hears how poor they are. Well guess what, if you had stopped 9 kids ago, you might not be so bad off at this point! (they have 12, ages 19 to 2)
So Ive gotten way off point here, sorry! I feel they will mostly likely continue to fall back on the church and probably get government aide. Which Im NOT against in the right circumstances. So yeah, the taxpayers will not only be footing the bill for dad while hes in prison, we'll be supporting the kids as well! Makes me wanna go to work today....

there's a family in Utah I think - the woman was mother of the year a couple years ago. The guy's not in jail though - and they live a good life - there's also a family in Youngstown, Ohio that had like 14 kids - the woman was always pregnant! Her kids are like 22 - 3 years old! They all went through (or are going through ) Catholic school

The Duggars. TLC has had 2 specials on them: Moving in w/ 16 kids and on the road with 16 kids. He works (forgot what he does) she stays hom. All the kids are homeschooled and let me tell ya....they live better than my family does and we only have 2 and we both work and have well paying jobs!

I cant believe that guy. I hope that whatever happens that those kids will be the best they can be and will not be like the daddy!
