Haha, regardless of what other people say, you and I both know that you will NEVER find maths fun/interesting.
So know you face two options: Tutor or study harder.
Personally a tutor will probably always be the best option...for those who can afford it. Otherwise get a study-group together, ask your smart friends for help and ask them to tell you in the simpliest terms how to do stuff.
If all else fails cheat of the person beside you! :P

First of all, you won't do well if you hate it. Get ET Bell's
"Men of Mathematics," biographies of really interesting men who were mathematicians, like Henri Poincare, a mathematician and President of France!
Here is good help. This is a jump page with links to may sites, look at a few a day:
http://www.khake.com/page47
a pro math site:
http://www.mathworld.wolfram.com
How to study math:
http://www.utexas.edu/student/utlc/lrnres/handouts/862.html
http://www.mathweb.com
http://mathforum.org/library/topics/problem_solving/
Martin Gardner has written much interesting material about math!
Contact me on here if you need more help!! Look at the khake site carefully - the is help for other subjects there to - and employment help!
Get a good paperback math dictionary!
http://www.flashcardexchange.com print your own flash cards from an extensive library!!
I once failed algebra, but later passed differential equations - don't quit and always ask for help.
Print this out and give it to your friends and your teacher!! I hope that you keep trying - you will get better jobs and meet more interesting people!! I worked in the chemical industry (perfume reasearch) and as a journeyman electrician - both take math!!

Study more. If you already "hate" it you'll have ongoing problems until you get over it. Most math is mechanical reproduction of whatever idea is being presented, applied to specific items of information disclosed. If you learn the concept first you'll have an easier time of it. If I can help let me know. I try not to give away the answer but instead teach the theory behind getting to the answer. Your brain CAN handle it, even though if you learn enough it counts as rocket science. ;-)
I like word finds and Sudoku puzzles, and searching for the right answers. Think of it as a game. You'll use math your whole life, might as well get to like it.

Extra credit like "Sasha" does. She posted about 30 extra credit problems here and probably will pass the 8th grade because of it.

Study harder next time and talk to your teacher/professor about what you did wrong and how you can improve your performance in the future.

Study. Do your homework. Ask the teacher what you can do to make it up.
