go to her parents and tell them about this immediately so they can be involved in this too and hopefully help her get out of this...dont wait around for her to get hit again... get evidence that she is being beaten by him and then go to the police.. either pictures or recordings of threats or anything like that... i would say he wouldnt hunt her down but you cant be sure about these things so get her as much moral support as you can to get her out of this...

Well u have tried. Just let her know u are there for her. Tell her she needs to do something. I watch lifetime all the time and well usually something bad always ends up happening b/c no one did anything. The girl in the movie sounds like ur friend. If she wont listen let her parents know.... b/c she doesn't deserve that. If ur friend gets mad and still wants to be in that relationship tell her u can't sit back and watch her go through that and u wont. As hard as that may be but, if she wont help herself then theres nothing u can do.

You need to contact your state's Battered Women/Domestic Violence resources. Contact your state Attorney General's office to get the number. Bottom line is you have to get people who are used to dealing with this type of situation to step in. They will see right through her excuses and diverting answers. Get on the phone to the people who can help you help your friend NOW. The police are not the specialists in this type of situation, and have no authority unless they witness the abuse.

First of all, I would like 5 minutes in a room with this guy, he won't hit another person, secondly, unfortunately if your friend doesn't admit there is a problem then there is really nothing you can do for her, be there, be her friend, support her and hopefully she will trust her friends and get help, and you'll be there for her.

I'm sorry to say but she needs to help her self first before anyone else can make a difference in her life. Self esteem is a big issue here. Keep talking to here and get her as much help as you can and never put her down in anyway.

You should tell her parents, this is a very dangerous situation.
She most probably has a VERY low self-image and thinks no one would even love her more than this guy...
I think you all need to intervene and save her from this guy...he sounds really horrible! If you don't take her away from him it could have very bad consequences than have already taken place!

I had a sister who had a relationship just like that and from my experience with her i would have to say the only thing you can do is be ther to support her when she needs you and eventually she'll realize that by you being her friend you would never wanna see her hurt. so basically just be there for here to catch her when she falls.

wow that is aweful. Men are idoits sometimes. If i were you i would tell her mom. and make sure somehow the police finds out. That is the most important. Get that man away from her!

I'm sorry to say but there is really nothing else you can do.This is something she will have to figure out for herself.I know it has to be hard for you to see your friend in trouble but you have tried to help her and she turned you down.Just keep being her friend and let her know you are there if she needs you

I understand that your concerned for you friend but you can't help someone that don't want to be helped. You can tell her parents though they might be able to talk some sense into her.
