Ok i know this may come out as a bit thick and honestly i am not insulting your intelligence one bit.
When you put it on the radiator did you do it all in bits ie take the back off, battery out and sim card to dry them all individual?
i have dropped mine in a bucket (dont ask) of water and a cup of coffee told you i was thick but i pull mine apart and put it in my airing cupboard it is a stand in joke if no one can see my phone "mom is it in the cupboard again?"
If you have not done it like that try it and good luck.

It happened to me earlier this year and I managed to bring it back to life using a hair blower. I just took the battery out and tried drying the phone with the hot air.. Don't try to switch it on while its wet because it can damage the circuits inside the phone and might corrupt all the information available on it

positioned the flush on carry. heavily, what you do is to dry the cellular with a hair dryer on a low set and speed. It per chance salvageable, the crackling is led to by the moist. And drying out the phone as i have reported will likely fix it. (with slightly of success) till its completely dry your telephone gained't artwork. Any water or dampness contained in the phone gained't enable the circuits artwork and may likely knacker it up besides. no matter if it truly is knacked then take out the Sim card because of your last credit if you're a prepaid customer to redeem any credit it truly is incredible. i do not assume we are going to be in contact for a even as; till your cellular healthful back. givemestrength

When you put in on the radiator did you take the battery out.
I have dropped my mobiles in the sea and in pools loads of times. All I did was take the phones battery out and also the sim card out. and put them in a warm room , Over night the phone dried out. I normally left if for about 24 hours. and it worked ok.
if you left the phone intact then the metal contacts will have rusted and the battery will prob have shorted out.
bad luck.

Same thing happened to me - it is still recoverable!!! Although I didn't drop mine down the loo - but in a bucket of bleach!!!! Take it apart and dry it out as best you can with a hairdryer, change the battery if the fone is up to date and charge it up - this worked for me and my nephew hope this helps!

when a mobile phone suffers water damaged...its just an expensive lookin piece of plastic...if its the motorola v3 series...then i would congratulate you for ridding this world of those poo handsets..
other wise if you had it on contract and did not take insureance...then tough.
it is what is known as BER...beyond economical repair.
if you did get insurance out and you got it from carphone warehouse...you would be covered under your lifeline policy.
there would be an excess to pay but you would get a new handset though.

My friend did the same thing to his MP3 player.
He put alcohol in it (the stuff from the chemist, not gin!)and it dried up the water as it evaporated.
But don't know if it would work coz of the sim card...worth a try, but you might want to research it abit first.

drying on the raditor shouldnt have been done.
I dropped in the toilet too... but u air dry it....nomore no less..
u may have ruined by applying too much heat to a wet surface..
Room temp drying is what I was told to do.
Works fine..though rare occasion it shuts off instead of dialing.
