I still watch it to pass the time but I have to admit it pretty much went downhill by now. It's more about those stupid shows rather than the music. It's good if nothing else is on and if you're bored but I don't think it's necessarily quality tv. It's not a waste of time if you're into Laguna Beach or whatever it is they're showing.

Yes I do agree with you 50% there is some good stuff still on there. But don't get me wrong I do miss the old 80's on MTV. Like the old saying : I want my MTV. Now thy are saying: I want my old MTV.

Not a total waste of time. Viewers watch it, idolize celebrities and watch musical artists. Then they go out and buy stuff celebrities are wearing or comperable products, watch the movies that celebrities are in, buy their music (no matter how much we think it sucks). So it is good for the economy I guess.

Definitely, I mean, all they show is re runs and dumb reality shows. I only liked watching the videos but there's rarely any videos nowadays!!!

When it was "Music TV", it was sometimes pretty good. Not much music any more though. I think it is now "Mundane TV"
