I'm a guy who just works, and comes back home and does hobbies. I go out when i have free time: i go to the library, i go to the bookstore, i go to the park, to supermarket. and i go out to meet one friend on the weekend. And that gives me happiness. But i see in tv or hear about people who go to clubs, drink there, dance there, and things happen there. From the sound of it, it sounds pretty crazy...and makes you vulnerable. Why do people want to be weak and unable to think well . and if they have friends already, why they need to gather in a club where it can be dangerous and the environment is noisy and harmful to health. I don't get it.

I've never gotten it either. Let's face it, why would one go out to a club other than to be seen or to hook up with someone? Although people will tell you it's just "fun" or that they just "like it," those are subjective terms that allow them to ignore the motive that they can't see that controls them. I think you seem to lead a fulfilling life that involves building lasting relationships, and that is WAY more important.

ur thinking about this all wrong there is nothing wrong with what u do if that makes u happy but some ppl just like to unwind and dance a lil bit, meet new ppl even if they may not stay friends with them. they just want to get out for a while. and everybody who goes to a club does not drink. besides if u take enough friends with u and one got a lil tipsy the others will watch out for u to make sure nothing happens to you thats why i say u shouldn't go alone. but its mostly harmless fun well except for a couple of idiots

Going to clubs is so much fun. If you don't like the music, you can walk down the street to another club.
You can dance and sing and lounge around and just listen to music. You can dance with strangers and make friends. You don't have to drink. It's not crazy.

You might be feel vulnerable because you haved lived a sheltered life. Get out of the house!!!

People, by nature, are social creatures. We seek out the company of others with the exception of those who choose to live in recluse which is usually brought on by bad experiences with society. Life is full of risks and danger and I firmly believe you can't live your life on a "what if". If I did that I would never leave the house.

It's good that you have hobbies, but rediculous to say that those who go to clubs are "weak and unable to think for themselves".

Not everyone that goes to clubs drink/use drugs...as they simply want to dance and associate with friends.

Many can have hobbies and go out to clubs...which would make them more mentally capable that you.
