Since I am Asian...I love the Chinese Moon festival and New Year's one. I passed by the Marina location ones but it didn't get me interested.Lol.

You just missed some. Ghirdadelli Chocolate Festival back in August, Love Parade this past weekend and Hawiian Festival in Japantown this past weekend. Fleet Week is coming up next week.

Cherry Blossom in Japantown (April), then there's north beach, and fillmore st. I think Polk and Union streets have them too. Of course there's folsom street, but I've never been able to bring myself to go to that one, it's not for the faint hearted.
Also after carnaval there is a street festival, mostly with food but I think there's music too.
Then there are indoor paid festivals like hawaiian, filipino. Check the pink section in the chronicle each week and you find tons of them (russian, greek, german just to name a few I've been to).
