Yes, UFOs exist. There have been hundreds of thousands of sightings. If they don't land, there is no physical evidence, but there is plenty of eyewitness accounts, photos and video.
Those who say they will only believe when they see physical proof, including the late Carl Sagan, deny all visual evidence. Something can exist without landing on this planet, can't it? We believe other planets exist, yet we have no physical pieces we can hold in our hand?
We have just learned how to fly about 100 years ago. The universe is over 5 billion years old. What could another civilization come up with 1 million or even 1 billion years of technology? Since the time between learning to fly and then going to the moon was less than 75 years, we'd be short sighted to believe that super-speed space flight could never be mastered, given another 1 billion years of technology.

We made a big deal of UFOs in the 70s and 80s. We did the same with Big Foot and Lock Nes monster. Now we have much better photography, satelites and radar type stuff. If main stream or a rogue scientist found proof don't you think we would have heard about it?

Whatever proof that is alleged to exist is always skeptical. The photos can go either way and the abducted are not fully credible. Carl sagan who was the astronomy king would always say, "Wheres the physical evidence." Im no fan of Sagan but was right. One of those spacecraft needs to land on the White House lawn in broad daylight. Aliens need to exit and say who they are for it to be totally authenticated. Until then its a bunch of spooky stories.

The Heaven's Gate Cult seemed to think they did...crazy cult had a leader who made men and women shave their heads, castrate themselves, and take cyanide while wearing identical Nike shoes and white uniforms in order to ascend to the next level of reality aboard the Hale Bopp comet

I don't know. I think they do. Never seen one, so I can't say there definitely are. It seems there are some educated, sane people who have, and it is hard to believe we're the onlies.

IMO they do. It would be pretty egocentric to think that we are the only ones in this vast universe.
