Why does yahoo just let them get on with it? why should we just be ignored?
come on guys, lets get together and sort this mess out and get our section back to how it was, a DECENT section with REAL questions from REAL users of the community.

i totally agree with you. i have posted messages in the forum about the problems with this room and that it requires a monitor ,in hopes someone with some authority would read it , and provide us with a safe place. but this crap will just continue.

Serious questions will draw serious answers. I personally answer maybe one in twenty, if that. This site is set up for discussions of unpopular sexualities, and, for that reason is going to attract bigots looking for easy targets. The same thing happens to Pagans in "religion and spirituality", for that matter the same gays here who complain about straight intolerance of gays are the ones who turn around and are just as bigoted and intolerant of bis. Were I still Christan I'd reference the passage concerning motes and logs in the eye. One last thought, perfect or not, we at least have a forum, the bdsm players don't even have that, or do the majority of gays stand with the anti-gay crowd against them as well? In the word of Ben Franklin, "We must all hang together, or else we will certainly all be hanged separately".

Well you seem a very angry young man and I am here to help and support you, I am already famous for getting rid of the idiots who try to wind people up and be offensive (my job).
I do agree with you in some aspects but at the same time people need to relax a little and take good questions as well as bad and you have to agree that some are funny while true to say some are downright stupid.

I'm not a member of your community, but I am a human being and as such can show a certain empathy for your frustrations. Speaking as an ordinary person, the people you are not happy with are probably not sympathetic to you and your community, and as such are harassing you in a forum where they can get away with it. I have no set solutions for this, but I do wish that people of all stripes could learn to tolerate one another and show a basic minimum standard of respect one to another.

I agree. There are multiple users that use this area to post joke questions that get really annoying after a while (that poot guy and Kathy Griffin especially). It is very rare to see questions now that are about the topic of this post.

You don't see the level of smut you see here in the cat section, for example.
It is a site based on sexuality and for some sorry sorts it's as near to "naughty" as they can get here.
I don't like it either, but at least with can console ourselves knowing that we actually are gay - the ones who aren't and think their opinion is worth something are the real sad sacks!!!!

I remember when there were real questions, regarding serious matters. Now; its as you said; a lot of pathetic questions. Hopefully people will start to be more conscientious and address real issues.

I despair of that happening Chris Yahoo hates us and we can't get any enforcement of even the most blatant violations of abuse.
Yahoo doesn't like queers they are the worst homophobes in the business. They create these ghettos. Yeah sure we can go where we want but if we want community we have to come here where we do not have anyone listening to our cries for help and often our own members get suspended for reporting bullshit.

I agree. You have to weed through so much crap to get to a real question, it's almost not worth it. AND bigoted questions and remarks are almost never removed. It's very frustrating. I find find myself not going to this section very often anymore.

Yahoo is homophobic, simple as that. They let users post the most obsene and insulting questions and don't remove them, but are really quick to remove any of our answers to those questions that are even just the slightest bit defensive.
