ok. here is my problem, i am 2nd string on the varsity football team, and the jv team just lost 2 of there starting players for this weeks game. me and 1 other 2nd string varsity player were asked to play in the jv game this week. (tough team, prolly wouldnt get much playing time this week on varsity) i finally agreed but do not want to tell my parents that i am playing in the jv game, witch means i cannot play in the varsitygame friday night so i could probly get away with not telling my parents about me playing in the jv game. SHOULD I TELL THEM OR NOT? i dont want to tell them b/c it embarrases me that i am playing in the jv game.

tell them about it.. you are being a team player by doing that. you need a full games experience to get better. there is absolutely no shame in it and you should not be embarrassed.

Football is a game of passion and heart, you don't have to be a great athlete to be a great football player. Just go play you're *** off in that JV game and impress folks with your effort, then the coach will see you're effort and hustle and that will be the last JV game that you will have the opportunity to play. Remember, and I'm speaking from experience, realize that in football you only have 1 game a weak, not like Basketball or baseball, so in football you have to literally bust your *** on every play, because there won't be many. So enjoy it while you can, because there won't be many.

Just tell them this...

Due to injuries the JV squad is short on members. They asked if anyone would volunteer to help out the JV squad this week and you said you would.

What's so hard about that?
