i have a 98 deville and the other day someone stole the headlight cover off the passengers side,I called the dealer and some junk yards and they only will sell the entire assembly for 150-200 Can someone help me just get a cover.

try http://ebay.com or google for salvage yards, they have a hot line and get it for you. You could even call a local yard for this service.
You might even find your part on ebay

JUST the cover isn't available. It isn't made without it. And the cover isn't made without the entire assembly.
There are some places that service the whole assembly some cheaper than $200.00
There is a company out in California that specializes in after-market body parts, and they sell the lamps as well It is called San Jose Trading. Give them a call and see what they charge, and how much to ship.

The covers on those assemblies normally fall off because of the glue that holds them together, so I doubt anyone stole it. Your best bet is to find a used one from Ebay or LKQ (www.lkqcorp.com)
