I started using the bare minerals about 3 years ago. I really liked it! It actually got more expensive so I started looking for better deals online. I went on Ebay and found a product called EveryDay Minerals. I gave it a try and I really like it, I think it's better than the Bare Minerals and it's more than half the price. I still buy the original Bare Mineral Brushes though, also on ebay way cheaper. Check it out. I buy from this really good seller, always fast and good prices. I believe her ebay name is star_am.

I started to use bare minerals about a year ago. I had occasional breakouts and not the perfect even skin tone that we all want and I love their makeup. It hides the breakouts and evens out my skin tone without being heavy. It's very natural and very fast and easy to do. I even get less breakouts and my skin just seems to be healthier. I also love their other products like the eye shadows- so much fun to play with. I say go for it- I truly will never use any other product on my skin! Let me know what you do and if you like them or not! Good luck...

Bare minerals is actually very good, but that shouldn't be all you wear. You should think of it as a foundation, to bring out natural beauty, that doens't make you look gauky. Try wearing natural toned eyeshadows and lipcolors along with it, maybe a brown eypencil.

It is a bit shiny.
The idea of mineral makeup is good, you just have to get the right type. The ones on the market are all different to each other and have slightly different ingredients.
puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.

Overpriced junk. Drugstore mineral makeup like L'oreal and Physician's Formula are just as good, without the rediculous price.

I've never used it but I'm watching this question and hope people who have used it will answer. The product looks really neat on TV but don't want to waste my money on something that might not work. Thanks for posting this question.
