What is the term they use for the high end clothes sold at discount prices because they are defective in some way or another i.e. the inseams on a pair of Levi jeans are stitched in the wrong color so they sell it at Marshall's for $25 instead of $50. Is it just called "defective" or I remember another term for it.

All or any of the above. Some companies prefer to use different terms to make their products seem better than the others.

Could the word be "faulty"? Or flawy? :) I think defective is the best to describe what you mean.
