Fully credit the president with single handedly lowering them. Whats up with this double standard? If he lowered gas prices then he could have lowered them before now, if he was not responsible for the high gas prices in the first place he had nothing to do with the gas prices falling.

Please, courage, don't try to invoke logic when examining the actions of the neocon republicans. It doesn't work. You'll only end up giving yourself a headache.

They just repeat whatever lies they like until the media stops noting that they are in fact lying.

If the Dems are tell the American people that they want to raise taxes on oil companies don't you think the oil companies will lower the prices to make the Republicans look good around election time. The President does not have to tell them to lower the prices they are just looking after who ever is going to make them more money. Its a secrect hand shake if you will.

because the president now matches the ideology of human beings that list about more beneficial gasoline expenditures I heard on a radio application that throughout the time of a million month in 2008 on the large 3 community information exhibits there have been 32 comments about intense gasoline expenditures

Huh? What a freaking monstrous lie!

We said over and over the president has no control over gas prices - high or low! We still stand by that.

What we are waiting for, however, is for you to have any kind of intellectual consistancy - because you people blamed Bush for the high gas prices, why aren't you crediting him for the low gas prices? Or are you only economically ignorant if it serves your political purposes? (I assume this is because liberal = ignorant)

I am not giving credit nor blaming Bush for the gas prices, never have and never will.

I see the opposite though, libs were complaining that Bush was making the prices so high, now they are complaining that Bush is lowering them due to elections.

I am just happy they are down, its a nice break.

Opps, mis-read the question.

Actually the conservatives are saying it is economic factors that are causing the prices to drop, they are not crediting Bush with the fall. Maybe some posters here do but I have not heard that in the main media sorces.

Yep. Is it not also kind of strange how gas prices are lowering right before the elections for congress? hmm......could it be that the oil corp. CEO's are friends with politicians? hmm.....

No double standard except in your own convoluted mind, and I expect you'll be blaming it on the Bush administration again when prices go back up next year. SUPPLY AND DEMAND, dummy. Enjoy your SUV.

The president does not control gas prices .It is a commodity and is controled by investments and oil futures .
Bush has as much do do with them going up as going down .Nothing ! .

They must be really pissed that the bottom is dropping out of oil prices.
