If it is uncomfortable, then you should at least have that checked out. The ER is always an option. I just checked mine, I'm 150/90

An average adults Blood Pressure should be 120/80. By emergency protocol, anything at or over 140/100 is considered "serious." Now, this doesn't take into account height and weight, but if you're at 166/113 I would definitely see a doctor.

I would definitely go see a Dr. My Dr. told me that when the bottom number is over 90 you need to be seen because you could have a stroke.
I strongly recommend getting into your dr.'s office just to be safe. My mother had a massive stroke due to high blood pressure 3 years ago and is now paralyzed on her entire left side and completely dependent on others.
Good luck!

Take your bp again, in the other arm. If it's still that high, get to the doctor asap. If you're feeling dizzy, too, call 911 - if you're having a stroke, you'll die before you could drive yourself anywhere.

Your BP is pretty high - you should definitely consult with your doctor RIGHT AWAY - or get yourself to an emergency room - a high blood pressure can lead to things such as a stroke or a heart attack...
