We give names to people when they are born or when young and epithets we give depend on their features. The sweetest and softest and the wholesome and nicest things we tend to associate with them and enjoy calling them by those names. As long as they are young they don’t mind being called as such. When they become old, the nicknames get stuck and attract ridicule from the peers. Pumpkin is one such name that has universal appeal.

the korean word Ho-Bak means pumpkin and usually refers to fat people.

i just called my son that one day and said, "oh that sounds nice, I think I will spread it around." and it kinda spread lik wildfire and stuck.
