Recently, an ex-employee of my company threaten me to sell the code of one of our apps if we didn't give him money.

We sued him and he got busted by the police. When they interrogated him, he told them that he used a VB6 decompiler in order to achieve the source code.

Now, since then, I've been searching at the net and found no real VB6 decompiler, all that do some apps are "grab" the forms but with no code.

So, does it exist really a VB6 decompiler?

There is no such thing as a VB6 decompiler.
There used to be such a thing for VB3 and the 16bit version of VB4, but since 32bit VB4, decompilers do not really work.
You can sort of get back the visual portion of an app and some routines of the actual code, but as for getting back a line for line decompilation of a VB6 application, no.

The link below will be your best bet, but as for someone just spontaneously writing a decompiler, I don't think so, someone that smart would not be stealing code.

Never heard of VB6. Well, I've heard that there are some Visual Basic decompilers but not anything by the name of VB6. Some people mention these decompilers occasionally on some newsgroups.
