I have a 4gb iPod. Do you know where I can get the accessories? Can I still download music and transfer and whatnot without the original accessories?

I was in the very same situation when my sister gave me her Ipod..I downloaded Itunes free from apple.com and I bought a chargers off the street vendors during my lunch break...I am sure that if you don't have street vendors with the accessorie you can go to Radio Shack and pick them up

Ebay has the cheapest accessories if you're looking to save money. I've gotten several cases, chargers,etc off there and it's the same stuff as in the store, but for much cheaper.

You have to have the USB connector to transfer songs from your computer to your iPod. Often, when someone's iPod dies, they part it out on eBay, so you should be able to find anything there. All you really need is the USB and some headphones, which you can get anywhere.

You can go to www.apple.com and look for accessories there or you can go to a local apple store. I know they sell the USB cable there. Hope this helps!!
