I love thunderstorms (another reason I live in Florida - lightning capital of the world!). I particularly like them in secluded mountain cabins with someone I care about immensely... a little fire in the fireplace, wind rain and thunder outside - makes for a very intimate evening.

I love thunderstorms as well. It may sound insane, but I sometimes go to the roof of my house, sit down and watch them. Feeling the rain fall down and watching the thunder strike the sky is amazingly a beautiful sight and feeling. I think my love for it came a few years ago when I was on a plane back to Miami. It began to rain and there was a slight turbulence on the plane. Hearing the thunder, my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to watch outside the window. I don't think I have ever experienced something more beautiful than seeing lightning amongst those clouds. Ever since then the rain, the thunderstorms, they soothe me.

I love thunderstorms, especially with lightning. It's like a natural high. Thunderstorms make the heart skip a beat, I think that's the reason many people like it. That and it's beautiful.

I always thought they were awesome. ANd my love for them is still apparent but I dont sit outside or watch to closely after experiencing hurricane Katrina. As long as they arent too bad. And the power doesnt go out cause then my house will flood....again!
I would like to be one of those storm chasers...Thats an intense job but such a rush!

Yes, I love them. It is like the best thing that can ever happen. When there's a thunderstorm the place becomes cool & nice, and it feels really good.

I used to be terrified of them because when I was younger a tree once fell on our house during one and it shook the whole place, so from then on... I freaked out... to the point that even at the age of 15, I'd find myself in my parents bedroom during one.
But slowly I've come to enjoy them and loooove when they happen during the day because it makes for a niiiiiice nap. Something about sleeping while the rain is hitting the window is nice.

I love them too! I like to watch the lightning in a distant thunderstom miles away on my deck. I also love them right on top of me! Although, I have had some pretty scary things happen to me during a thunder storm (lighting to close, deafening thunder, funnel clouds, tornadoes, floods, etc). But I agree they are beautiful.

Yes, I identify with thunderstorms.
The way they are is similar to the way my mind works. I find comfort in them. I'm awed by them.
I have a storm inside my mind constantly raging on inside, a battle between logic and creativity. Inside the middle of the storm, lies me. I get to watch both sides storming on all around me, and decide which part to use.
